Located near Upington in the Northern Cape, Sirius is one of three large-scale solar facilities that make up the Upington Solar Cluster, together with Dyason’s Klip 1 and Dyason’s Klip 2. The project reached commercial operation in February 2020 under South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
