Located near Hanover in the Northern Cape, Linde Solar PV Plant was commissioned in July 2014 as part of South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP). The facility has an installed capacity of 42 MW, supported by around 138,000 solar panels, and delivers clean power to the national grid under a long-term PPA with Eskom.
