Located near De Aar in the Northern Cape, Lilitha Solar PV Plant consists of around 300,000 installed panels and benefits from the region’s high levels of solar irradiation. The project reached commercial operation in April 2016 and supplies clean electricity to the national grid under a 20-year PPA with Eskom.
