Currently under construction, the Letsatsi Solar PV Plant will supply renewable power directly to Northam Platinum’s Zondereinde Mine in Limpopo through a long-term private power purchase agreement. Developed in partnership with Energy Group, Royal Bafokeng Holdings, and Northam Platinum, the 80 MW facility forms part of Greenstreet’s strategy to diversify beyond REIPPPP projects into private offtaker agreements.
Once operational, the project will reduce reliance on grid electricity, support mine decarbonisation, and contribute to South Africa’s broader energy transition.
