Located near Upington in the Northern Cape, Dyason’s Klip 1 is one of three utility-scale solar facilities that make up the Upington Solar Cluster, alongside Dyason’s Klip 2 and Sirius. The project reached commercial operation in March 2020 under South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
