Located near Burgersdorp in the Eastern Cape, Dreunberg Solar PV Plant was commissioned in December 2014 under South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP). The facility has an installed capacity of 75 MW and over 250,000 solar panels, supplying renewable electricity to the national grid under a long-term PPA with Eskom.
